The HELLO INSPIRATION AWARDS Reminded Me of Why I LOVE MIDLIFE!

This week I've been busy with clients, meeting potential new team members as I might be adding to my team (of one! ME!) and getting excited for 2023 and BIG plans and more ways I can support YOU!

This week I was at the Hello Inspiration Awards at London's Corinthia Hotel.

It was SO gorgeous catching up with some familiar faces from my TV days - and amazing to celebrate so many worthy winners. The thing I loved most about seeing them all?

Our CHATS!

Real, connected chats - that I think only come in midlife!

Back in the day, we were all 20 somethings who would probably have been feeling insecure on the red carpet because we were all vying for jobs!

Now? We're COMFY IN OUR SKINS!

We all know WHO WE ARE!

And all passionate about this season!

Davina - with her Meno books and programmes.

Julia Bradbury - on her own cancer journey and inspiring every day.

Vorders - just being Vorders and proving age is just a number!

Saira Khan - loving this season...

Kate Silverton - now retrained as a Therapist

SO if you're reading this and you have the midlife years ahead of you -

I want to encourage you that it's going to be MORE THAN OK!

I FEEL MORE FULFILLED THAN AT ANY OTHER POINT IN MY LIFE!

I know the menopause years aren't without their challenges - for me Anxiety, low mood and brain fog are new arrivals on the scene! BUT - much like I've spent most of my life as a mum listening to a common narrative of "Just WAIT for the terrible twos" (they weren't!) "Ugh - teenageers - what a nightmare" (again, no!) - I think MIDLIFE also gets a bad press.

I feel passionately that this season of CHANGE is such an opportunity for GROWTH!

For DREAMING, DESIGNING and DARING TO LIVE a WHOLE NEW CHAPTER!

Starring a NEW and EXCITING YOU!

YOU - for TODAY.

YOU - for Life Part 2.

You just need to know HOW TO FIND HER!

And, if you don't know who you are anymore? I've got you! Some exciting things will be heading your way in early '23 that will massively help to support you - through this and ALL seasons of life.

Finally - The most moving part of the Hello Awards was an award for the late Bowel Babe, for her incredible legacy. She, like so many, never got the privilege of experiencing Midlife.

I'll leave us all with a reminder of her wake up call to JUST. LIVE. IT!

"Find a life worth enjoying;

take risks; love deeply; have no regrets.

And always, ALWAYS have REBELLIOUS HOPE"
